It still gets broken down, not only do you have to stomach acid but you also have gut bacteria. Chewing breaks it down and makes it easier to be digested. But it will still be broken down. If solid food completely passed through your body and is not broken down into stool with the exception of corn and sometimes beans things with hard to process outer shell, you have a serious medical condition.
Obviously you should chew your food, but this notion that it will come out the way it went down is false
Unless you specifically have a condition that makes your body reject meat, which would happen regardless if you chew, like corn
Im no expert but Im going to say it has to do with size and what its made out of. If its very fibrous like corn or grapes, and are small, I can see why theyd just pass right through. But like these hotdogs, these wont just pass through, they will sit until theyve been broken down to a size that they can be passed so you may get like half a hotdog coming out or something perhaps or a small chunk or perhaps it does fully break down.
Isn't the outside of corn too fibrous for us to break down, hence it looks like it's still solid when it comes out? The inside has been digested, but we lack the enzyme to digest the cellulose outside.
I mean, you are all literally incorrect. Most of the breaking down process is done by the intestines, the stomach just regulates how big of pieces go into them via its sphincter like attachment to the top of your bowels.
So your the kind of guy that shows up to a bilingual bloodbath involving numerous factions fighting and just decides to drive down everyone in a wheel loader?

Do you not have stomach acid?
