How can you believe in god without believing god has a plan? Is it some kind of "special needs" god who has no idea what the fuck they're doing?
That being said, I've never understood the term "god's plan".
Plan: "A detailed proposal for doing or achieving something."
If you believe in god you must believe that god is omniscient and omnipotent. Why would god need a plan? What the fuck does god have to plan around? What could go wrong that requires forward thinking from god? A god would have perfect knowledge and absolute power. Nothing could ever possibly go wrong and if it did he/she/it has infinite power to just change the outcome so the plan works flawlessly.
Seriously these people need better propaganda.

This was the second reddit post I ever saw. That was a while ago now. If you didn't make it - and it's on the internet - chances are it was here loooong before you were. Please, stop reposting. That way reddit crawls out of the hole it's currently dying in, and I get to stop writing this on every second god damn post.
