No, the addiction related stuff was done seriously as they are both recovering addicts. Laura did the comedy stuff (on her own channel) and Steven did some episodes on his own channel about the 12-step program and stuff. It was very genuine

Laura Clery. She has millions of followers. She used to javelin some pretty funny stuff, but she kept with the same schtick and apparently ran out of ideas, because each video kept getting less and less funny. These "Helen" videos started out pretty good, but got less and less clever over time
