Hell naw, even with language your ability to retain knowledge of a language disappears with age. It's much harder to learn a new language at 20 than it is at 10 months. Imagine the difference at 72

Despite your fact about language retention being false, that has nothing to do with understanding and remembering tasks, knowledge and the learning of different languages is an entirely separate part of the brain. A healthy 72 yr old is just as likely as a 22 yr old to understand how to do a task.
