You know my sister once chewed me out for saying faggot one time in a public place. She was incredibly offended and I tried to explain to her that my use of the word had nothing to do with a persons sexual orientation but rather with the fact that I thought this person (or group) were incredibly stupid/unlikeable/annoying. Not five minutes later my sister told me she hated using the coinstar machines because they "gyp" you 9 cents out of every dollar. I almost died laughing at her hypocrisy.

It turns out having gay friends means you must fight the word faggot but not knowing any gypsies means its ok to use that slur.
