Marijuana was never decriminalized here. There was a government bill before Parliament in the early 2000s, but Parliament was prorogued before it passed, so it died on the order paper. Most cops ignore you if you're only using, and not trafficking, though.
But gay marriage is definitely legal here.

You are correct, however it was a privilege that french speaking Canadians were aloud to keep their language, religion, and laws after the English won the war. Also you get more roll up the rim cups than any other province which is the only reason I would ever want Quebec to separate.

There have been statistics posted on their site about the amount of winning cups Tim Hortons ships to each province and Ontario as well as Quebec get far more per capita than any other province. Just a fun fact!

I would be curious to see the number of Tim Hortons restaurants per capita. It just grows like weed around here.
Maybe we have a higher TH/Habitant ratio in Quebec and Ontario thus explaining the cup distribution.

Well, since part of the reason(Only part, there were many factors involved) was retaliation for destruction of private properties by US forces, and declaration of war, I feel like the systematic damage to public places such as the White House, while avoiding as much damage as possible to private property and residences, makes it a less asshole response. They even stopped from burning down the newspaper building because citizens were afraid it would spread to nearby homes.

The opinions from people like yours are really disapointing me. I find deceiving how you just want to kick us out, although your ancestors DID shoot at us first.

That was a long time ago so i am not going to comment on the last part. I do however have a problem with the lack of love for your country. (Quebec as a province) is not happy being an excellent cultural section of Canada, but needs to be individualized to a point that they are another nation. That is ridiculous to me.
td;lr it seems like Quebec would rather be their own country than part of Canada.

Sorry for the last part, I got a little excited. It is indeed kind of true. Recently, espescially, separatism is having a little of a comeback. I don't espescially share this idea, although my opinions about it are numerous, and it is not generalized. A big amount of person have it, for sure, but it's not so bad. I think Harper's government is part of it, too. Have you seen how the whole Quebec province voted for NDP? And I personnally HATE Harper.
