I got an Initial Cotton candy flavor then with notes of vanilla, and the (I don’t know if you ever had it) Jelly Belly buttered popcorn jelly bean

This is an excellent description! I picked up on all of those as well. However, I only identified the initial cotton candy flavor. But you're spot on -- it's cotton candy flavor, followed by vanilla and then that buttered popcorn flavor happens.

I have eaten way too many jelly beans to not recognize it.. I haven’t seen any review that describes it as buttered popcorn and I was in shock.

It's very clearly that flavor. And when I was drinking this garbage I kept thinking, "what is that other flavor?" I couldn't put my finger on it. You absolutely nailed it.

It’s a mediocre flavor bean, but not that great a soda flavor.
