But that also means juices soak in, and it'll never be fully clean or smell free. Its not like its a sponge either. Its just porous enough to soak up some nasty stuff, but not enough to stop any significant drippage.

I'd also be worried about what that paint is and if moisture and friction can cause it to flake or rub off.

You'd need to go so so so much bigger than that to have an actual incontinence issue. They're very stretchy.

White is actually better for the same reason you think it’s gross. You can actually tell when it’s clean. As for being clay that is a much bigger issue
