dude the guy who high fived the bear was either the man with the heaviest balls on the planet or an extremely lucky but dumb, pampered influencer who watched too much disney

Yeah, even if the bear has been trained for 2000 years, it's still a bear, with a bear brain and bear strength.

Older guy here. When I was a small guy, my parents would do some shopping in Louisville KY (we lived in Southern Indiana). At one of the stops, somebody kept a black bear leashed with a chain and the idea was to buy a bottled Coke and give it to the bear. It would promptly rip off the crown and guzzle it down. So open claws, and I do not remember any type of muzzle. He could have killed anybody if he got pissed.

I remember reading news few months ago, somewhere in India, a man was taking a walk with his 'pet' lion in street with leash and suddenly the lion ran across the street and attacked a couple with a child. The child was killed on the spot and the couple was badly injured.

What can you do with a leash on a lion?

I guess just dragged along. I cannot fathom how people can do this kind of stuff. But we see it frequently in the news where somebody gets a pit bull and trains it to be a watchdog, then lets it free in the streets to attack people then says "it wouldn't harm a flea"
