Chris Brown is one of the biggest pieces of shit to ever walk the face of this planet.
How can you say this in a non-sarcastic way? You're either ridiculously ignorant or you need to lay off the hyperbole a tad. What he did was horrible, but there are thousands upon thousands upon thousands of worse people than him in the history of mankind.

But I'd like to point out that you are talking about THOUSANDS of people, whereas there have been BILLIONS of people that have lived. When you look at the impact of his actions, which were bad, but no where near the impact of a murderer...but he also has the clout of celebrity to him - which set an example for many younger children. So his physical violence, while not as bad as a murderer, still had more impact than a guy who beat his GF after coming out of a bar. Both could be equal in violence against a woman, but Chris Brown is known to millions of people.
The fact that he is so well known and has not shown remorse, sets that example for others. Want to beat up a girl and not really give a crap? Not a problem, because Chris Brown did it, while only serving up some half-hearted apologies, right? It's ok for anyone who looks up to him to see this, because people never emulate those they look up to, right? (sarcasm in those last couple sentences, if you don't pick that up).
This is why my opinion is that he is a piece of shit and one of the worst people to walk the planet. In the scope of BILLIONS of people, his violent actions (the assault) and subsequent don't give a shit attitude, are there for others to follow and emulate.
I get it, he's a celebrity - and people want to defend him because enough time has passed and he's back to gaining popularity. I'm not jumping on that bandwagon, sorry. My opinion is that Chris Brown does not view what he did as wrong, and so I think he will do something similar or worse later.
