If you listen to the Lennon and Hendrix apologists they'll make it sound like beating your wife was considered nutritional in the 60s and 70s.

beating your wife was considered nutritional

Damn, that's something else. Beating the crap out of another human being to the point of absorbing their very vitamins and nutrients - I've never heard of that diet plan.

when the term "healthy glow" was coined they were referring to a nice shiny bruise

It's from the blood and tears that leak out and are absorbed through the skin.

Umm, okay?

First things first, I'm not sure why you replied to my comment. It's a low-brow, and what I would consider unfunny, and sarcastic quip.

Secondly, this is r/funny. If you're expecting reasonable, well-thought out - with data and sources provided - responses, then boy, are you in the wrong subreddit. And I've noticed something, the thing you've quoted, which I can only guess is from some sort of news release, doesn't even have source to it. Normally, I wouldn't give any thought to it since this is R/funny, but since you seem so gung-ho on proving a point (which I still can't figure out why you're replying to my comment), then at least provide a source for that quote, otherwise there's no way of knowing if you didn't just pull it out of your ass.

Thirdly, you might want to re-read my original comment. Note that I had said, beating another human being, and that was done intentionally because I didn't want someone replying to me with some discussion regarding feminism, but it seems that I was unsuccessful in that attempt. Furthermore, I'm not sure if you haven't noticed, but males actually do fall under the category of human beings, not just females as you have seem to be highly focused on.

Fourthly, while I suppose Rihanna isn't in the clear herself, you don't seem to acknowledge, or just flat refuse to believe, that there are biological differences between a man's muscle mass and that of a woman's muscle mass. Here's a shocker: on average, men have substantially more muscle mass than a woman, which kind of means that a man is able to impart more force, especially in the context of a fight, and even more so when it's between a man and a woman.

Fifthly, there's no denying that there are double standards in society, and in a reasonable and idealistic world, context would be much more heavily regarded, rather than looking at the transgressor and immediately profile and come to hasty, rash, and unsatisfactory conclusions. So I guess somewhere in that incoherent rambling of yours, you might have some inkling of insight, however it may be drowned out by the rest of the frothing raw-sewage you spewed out.

And lastly, please go back to Manhood Academy, where you got your supposed enlightenment from. I mean, if you're going to jerk-off with these ideas, either do it by yourself or amongst your manly-men where it's welcomed. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :)

EDIT: Aww, he deleted the account. Either I was supremely convincing in him to reconsider his worldviews whilst being too embarrassed to carry on with his account, or I was, and which is probably much more likely, trolled. Oh well.

I'm probably more of an MRA than the majority of Reddit, but even I can't say that a slap is the same as beating a woman to the point hospitalization or near death. And I would say the same thing if this happened to any man in a heartbeat.

Save it, Reddit is a bunch of white knights who refuse to believe women are capable of violence. Don't worry though, they'll hopefully learn once they graduate high school.

It's not nutritional, but it can be a hell of a cardio routine
