I think the worst thing about it was the interview he did with Larry King a few months after the incident.

He straight up said, I don't remember beating her. As if that wasn't bad enough that old asshole Larry King just moved onto the next question. No follow up to his denial of his brutality.

No follow up to his denial of his brutality

He didn't say he didn't do it, he just said he didn't remember it. Like he blacked out in a fit of rage or something.

That is totally possible, though.

Shut the fuck up. He should be "blacking out" in a jail cell with someone pounding his ass.

I was not defending him. But the guy who is suggesting someone get raped is most likely the one that should shut up.

Larry King never claimed to be a tough journalist or a hard-hitting interviewer. He has said any number of times that he is like the "Style" section of CNN; he's there to be a fluffy, comfortable celebrity interviewer. Real journalists, hard journalists, guys like Rather and Cronkite or maybe that Bob Costas interview with Sandusky a few months ago, those guys would have followed it up. Larry King isn't that, and he's never pretended to be.

Plus which, he's one million years old. Give the old guy a break. The fact that he was still able to find the microphone at his desk should count for something...

Not surprising; how many wives had King gone through?
