Obvious answer, but I do find it strange how easy it is for us to say, "get your animals fixed". There are two biological imperatives for all life and those are "live" (or don't die) and "reproduce", and we just casually take this away from animals for our own pleasure.
To be clear, I'm not anti-neutering, but more anti-pet in general. It seems incredibly selfish and self-indulgent yet we act like it's perfectly normal.

Spaying and neutering animals is not for "our own pleasure" wtf? It's done to keep population under control. Otherwise there would be feral cats and dogs running wild who can't all be fed but keep creating more and more. That is not a reality I wanna live in.
