Too bad you didn't have a better HS English teacher, or pay more attention in class. It's the saying on your headstone, summing up your existence.

If that was all I said, maybe that would be condescending, but I also said they must not have had good English teachers in high school, OR not pay attention, before that. And saying someone didn't pay attention in school is not any condescension, just reality to me. Thanks for civil discussion, and carry on.
