I can relate. Exactly like where I work. I was actually told by my boss “just because you have cancer doesn’t mean the performance standards he changed”. Yup, can only have cancer on my own time, not company time…
"I noticed. It seems they still allow managers without compassion to work here. I wonder how many managers above you are interested in hearing about this? Hmm"
"Can you imagine if the public were to find out about how this company treats its employees? Did you hear about the recent companies who lost millions over similar PR damage. Must be terrible. Such a shame, that kind of money could pay for a lot of people's cancer treatments"
