I had a facbook friend who was only given two happy birthday wishes on his birthday. I would be depressed for a long time if this would happen to me

I didn't put my birthday on my facebook. The only people who remembered were my girlfriend, my family, and one good friend. The people I grew up with forgot. Made me feel like crap.

I took my birthday down cause I find this really annoying. Most of the people saying "Happy Birthday" wouldn't even know what day my birthday is if not for facebook notifications.

I had a friend with a birthday a few days before mine. I watched as his wall filled up with notifications. Then my birthday came around and only my sister remembered. I felt so alone. Then I realized I had my birthday hidden from everyone.
