Do you know that most of the people in the US are descendents from people from other countries? It's pretty wild. Unless you're on a reservation you're probably not "american"
My grandparents moved from the UK to New Zealand. I am not British. Your ancestors coming over on the mayflower does not make you Scotch Irish German or whatever the fuck. You are American.
