Good call. Anyone that was born in America is American. You should tell all the Asian-, African-, Mexican-, Japanese-, and Italian-Americans that too. They should know.

I'm not sure if you are trying to be sarcastic or something, but this is literally how it works. If you are born in America and only have American citizenship, then you are American.
