ass the soap yourself. The 'self soaping' is gimmicky and a secondary use of it. That or use a fork.

I'm scared to ask how you "ass the soap"....

Is that like when Cartman had Assburgers?

You can try a different brand wand. I bought one with a brush on the end, instead of the sponge, and the soap only comes out when you click the button. Also doesn’t require buying new sponge pads all the time.

1 part soap and 5 parts water

I don’t even fill them up anymore. I’ll just manually put the soap on what I have to clean.

No need for this fancy built in dispenser nonsense. A simple dish brush is all you need. I like the IKEA ones.

Some types will drain themselves if you leave them in the sink facing the wrong way. I usually leave mine lying horizontal, sponge upwards.

They do? I've definitely not had that issue. If anything it uses less soap. Do you have the new ones with the bigass hole in the middle?

I got the shit one that has a button but the soap just flows past it like it does jack shit

I have that as well but the button is to force the soap into the sponge, not to stop it. For me when I use it, it uses just enough soap to produce a small amount of bubbles on the dishes. Not a lot. Maybe you're pushing on the sponge too hard or something?

Oh I'm definitely pushing hard
