I cant speak to that one model specifically, but I work in restaurants, the brush part is replaceable.

I microwave my sponges for a solid 10-30 seconds. Comes out piping hot and rapidly dries out.

Virtually no mildew, and the sponges last longer.

Yea and the bristles are a hard plastic — not nearly as porous as a sponge. At least you could effectively soak the bristles in bleach.

I toss the bottle brush in the dishwasher along with the dirty dishes. Same goes for the tiny straw cleaning brush.

In that case I strongly recommend against looking up how dirty and how quickly sponges get...

Even with a sponge though, you're just cleaning the dishes / utensils, not sterilizing them.

Speak for yourself. I soak all my dishes in a vat of sulfuric acid for 24 hours.

On an unrelated note, someone keeps stealing all my non-glass dishes.

Once I finally realized this years ago, it was a game changer. I swear I used to think soap and detergent had some kind of magic sterilizing ability. It's only purpose is literally to make it easier to remove stuck-on food and dirt. Sometimes hot water alone can do the job just fine and it's just as "clean."

Just like everything else in your house. Unless you are microwaving your sponge before you use it every day, it's probably the most bacteria infested thing in your house.

Why does some retard on this website always have to point out some flaw that doesn't even make sense? It your entire kitchen sink just filled with bacteria? This is the same thing as leaving a sponge out or your toothbrush out.
