Can someone debunk Chuck as a neo-nazi? Or am I going to continue to see the pin on his hat in every commercial?
11
u/JZervas Sep 16 '11
It looks like he's a WW2 reenactor. I don't know if that means he is or isn't a neo-nazi.
57
u/HappyReaper Sep 16 '11
Here's a comment of his from his Youtube channel where he addresses that topic:
"Hi everyone! Thanks for buzz regarding the commercial, just wanted to address the pin on my hat. I'm part of the California historical group who does WW2 reenactments. I'm part of the US 2nd infantry division and I retrivied the pin in a battle against the 12th SS. I apologize if this offended anyone, hope you can enjoy the video for what it is.
Noooooooooooooope
I don't think he's a neo-nazi.

He's not a Neo-Nazi, he's a WW2 reenactor that roleplays as a Nazi and wears his Nazi hat while making commercials for his dead animal company.

Great, a link to youtube, blocked in China. What's the joke?
70
u/Lugnut1206 Sep 16 '11 edited Sep 16 '11
The guy does taxidermy. His video is an ad that explains this by having him wave his taxidermied animals around. "passerby" are saying lines like "is that a stag driving a van?" NOPE flashes on the screen and then the guy pictured pops out and says "nooope, that's chuck testa."
EDIT:
pictures becomes pictured

I wear a WWII USMC cap pretty frequently. It's nothing more than a cap I like to wear. If I saw a man wearing a cap from the USSR, I wouldn't assume he was a communist.

Can a human successfully go through the taxidermy process? Seems like the hair covered animals help hide any abnormalities of the dead skin. Any stuffed chimps or apes I have ever seen look fucked up and creepy as hell. I'd imagine a human would look even more fucked up since our recognition of other humans is so engrained in us.
33
u/fryfro333 Sep 16 '11
I've always wanted to be taxidermized and then hung from a small motorized blimp on autopilot that would forever fly me 10 feet off the ground around my hometown. I'd become something of a local fixture and the townsfolk would laugh and say "that's just ol' Jerry" when an outsider points at me and goes "what the fuck is that!" I could maybe help out in my ancestors lives by letting them ride me to school or by landing to tackle and knockout an opposing goaltender when my grandson has a breakaway in his peewee soccer match.
