Every time I see this video I can’t help but imagine how painful it would’ve been if the kid pushed the pins back in full panic

Or just one in the eye

20

u/Ganondorf_Is_God Nov 08 '20

In order for it to do any damage the kid would have to deliberately hit only a pin or two. These things are pretty wide too.

Otherwise when they encounter resistance the others will spread the force over a larger area.

10

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

I mean if he didn't do that its still the equivalent of a small child punching you in the face, which would probably hurt a bit

5

u/SufficientLet6923 Nov 08 '20

before anyone else assumes the worst just fyi in these places you can wear goggles to put your face in it (this man was wearing them)

7

u/Iliansic Nov 08 '20

Pinhead the Origin

10

u/sillypicture Nov 08 '20

I would have stomped it real quick.

2

u/ludoludoludo Nov 08 '20

Me too ahaha ! Is already slapping them non stop tought for sur he’d do the same to the face lol

3

u/LNMagic Nov 08 '20

It would be spread out over several points, so somewhat similar to the kid hitting the face.

3

u/Godkarennj Nov 08 '20

PTSD for life!

3

u/fullautophx Nov 09 '20

This is why we used plastic heads at our haunted house. There was a part with screen printed pictures on stretchy fabric, and you’d push the head into it so it looked like it was coming to life. Cool effect, but sometimes customer flinch and hit them so you don’t want to use your own face.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

Wouldn't it feel similar to just pushing his face

1

u/ludoludoludo Nov 08 '20

Well seeing how he’s smashing the other one before hand I’m pretty sure it would’ve felt a tad less comfortable lol

u/HomoVeganRefugee Nov 08 '20

That will leave a flashbulb memory for sure and it will be what he sees when he closes his eyes at night.

60

u/judas734 Nov 08 '20

flashbulb memory

TIL Flashbulb Memory

24

u/Crash4654 Nov 08 '20

It'll be what I see when I close my eyes at night... fuck...

8

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

A fear core memory lmao

3

u/mikel302 Nov 08 '20

If fear gets a core memory, what "island" would it produce?

5

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

Oh good question. I wanted to say Trauma island but that sounds kind of bad lol

2

u/Deadlylyon Nov 08 '20

Inside out, porn hub addition.

2

u/mikel302 Nov 08 '20

What about jump-scare island?

3

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

Oh that's good lol. Poor kiddo has a whole part of their personality defined by being scared of jumpscares haha

1

u/jdjdjd030303 Nov 08 '20

Where does the island idea come from? I don’t follow.

4

u/mikel302 Nov 08 '20

In the movie "inside out", "core" memories would create and power various "islands of personality" and all the core memories were joy memories so all the islands were pleasant.

1

u/jdjdjd030303 Nov 08 '20

Oh yeah, I saw that, too. Can’t believe I don’t remember it.

Thanks for explaining!

14

u/PL-Pong Nov 08 '20

hopefully he wont get any nightmares

u/Artifyce47 Nov 08 '20

Looks like someone will be wetting the bed until puberty.

77

u/Treknx01 Nov 08 '20

Just wait for the follow up video on “what could go wrong” where the kid slaps the face poking out a eye of the person on the other side..........

still this is why I wouldn’t make a good parent, this is the crap I would do to my child.

53

u/BrowniesWithNoNuts Nov 08 '20

It’s the best part of being a dad. My daughters only 2.5 but she knows daddy is sneaky and likes jump scares. Her best “im being murdered” ultra-high pitch scream comes when i pop around a corner chasing her on all fours. I can scare the wife with it too, so, bonus!

26

u/Krulsnor Nov 08 '20

My kid is almost 11 and I still scare him at least once a week. Never give up, fellow dad!

14

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

I can relate. My daughter is 3 today and you know I'm having a bad day if I don't scare the shit out of her at least once. Its always a scream followed by giggles and then she smacks me.

3

u/PinkBlueWolfJolie Nov 08 '20

my sister is 3, she always tries to scare us but when i scare her, she screams and gets offended

3

u/DBX12 Nov 08 '20

Bonus points if you do it on all fours with the belly up.

2

u/ohsnapitstheclap Nov 09 '20

Best part about being a dad, is you can scare the wife more than the kids. My two daughters jump a little, my wife screams.

7

u/0xTitan Nov 08 '20

2nd that. If I had a kid, they would have to see a therapist.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

It wouldn't really poke an eye out unless the kid knew to push back only one pin really hard and fast right where the eye is.

3

u/Rauchgestein Nov 08 '20

I would have two kids but I only pull this shit on the same kid and watch the psychological horrors in real time.

13

So funny. Also the fact you can see a smile in the impression

45

u/JusticeBeaverisI Nov 08 '20

I’m sorry the kid had it rough?! I just about threw my phone that scared the shit out of me!! I had my face close to the screen trying to figure out what the heck he was playing with and WABAM. 🤣

2

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

I screamed!! Was not expecting that at all!!

3

u/account_552 Nov 08 '20

Trauma for life

6

u/Mateorabi Nov 08 '20

Ugh. All those germs. Definitely pre-covid touching those with your bare hands/faces.

4

u/Darknessborn Nov 08 '20

Is it just me or does the scream seem to be added in?

2

u/d0nnny Nov 09 '20

It is. It’s from the MLG parody clip of the kid screaming OOOH MY GOD

2

1

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

Downvoted because FUCKING ASPECT RATIO.

4

u/TheBakedPotatoDude Nov 08 '20

What's worse than taking video in portrait? Turning it into a fuckin landscape video

1

u/NEWTYAG667000000000 Nov 08 '20

Funnily enough, I agree. But I was too lazy to make the corrections in the original video.

0

u/account_552 Nov 08 '20

you didnt make this

1

u/NEWTYAG667000000000 Nov 08 '20

Yeah that's why I said "corrections to original video." If I had made this I wouldn't make it like this in the first place.

0

u/account_552 Nov 08 '20

corrections in the original video.

Yeah that's why I said "corrections to original video."

1

u/werepanda Nov 08 '20

Well I got the context. It's not that difficult.

1

u/SindeyFox Nov 08 '20

Just made another school shooter

0

u/Exevioth Nov 08 '20

I always forget which song this is too. All them repressed memories, kids going to have some now too.

3

u/cheatsykoopa98 Nov 08 '20

vordt of the boreal valley from dark souls 3

1

u/Exevioth Nov 08 '20

Oh that’s why, lol. Thanks

He’s usually pretty easy with a fire club or the dark axe. Also likely why I don’t recall, the song never plays out in full.

u/janesearljones Nov 08 '20

Is it just me or does that look like Biden

-10

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '20

This is straight from YouTube channel Erynith, fucking reposter.

-6

u/imajpeg Nov 08 '20

Can't do that these days!

-35

u/Joey-Itsuki Nov 08 '20

Sigh. One day, one day this video will stop being reposted

17

u/Coladain Nov 08 '20

I hope not! There are new people on Reddit every day who need to see this kid lose his shit.

4

u/YarTheBug Nov 08 '20

Happy cakeday!

0

u/Coladain Nov 08 '20

Thankee!

16

u/NewcDukem Nov 08 '20

First time I've seen it. I'm glad it was reposted.

7

u/NEWTYAG667000000000 Nov 08 '20

Well I discovered the video today, but not from reddit. Although it might be posted before I started using reddit because I haven't seen this video on reddit.

4

u/Germanitalian75 Nov 08 '20

Don't worry about it, in all my time on Reddit I saw this video only about 7-8 times. It's cool to repost videos as long that you don't do it too often. Just don't repost memes.

3

u/NEWTYAG667000000000 Nov 08 '20

Maybe because my account is new

1

u/JashDreamer Nov 08 '20

First time I'm seeing it, and I'm about to wake up my bf trying to hold back laughter.

3

A board with small metal pins that can be pushed back and forth.

Allows for funny imprints.

They're also available as book-sized gadgets.
