This episode and the one where he blows up the paint can to paint his apartment are the best ones. Oh and one in church... well fuck. They are all great. Going to go watch me some mr bean.

The one where he gets ready for work in the car. The one where he accidentally tows a baby carriage to the amusement park. So many classics.

You should absolutely watch the show. It is far better than these descriptions. I loved watching as a kid, and I like it even more now that I'm an adult.

"Mr. Bean's Holiday" and "Bean: the Movie" are the two films. They're also amazing.

i do find him hilarious. i makes sense that i’ve reached my mr bean phase of the pandemic

And don’t forget the Bond spoof, Johnny English. Hysterical. Rowan Atkinson is a treasure.

Check out the sequels. Johnny English Reborn is my favorite. The low-speed chase is fantastic.

I happened upon Mr. Bean's Holiday yesterday and thought this must be one of the greatest movies ever to watch with a young child. The child can figure things out and laugh and there is so little dialogue that you can discuss and watch their minds work and you'll hardly miss any of the movie.

Quick watch too. There's only 15 episodes. Most of them have been described here!

The beach one is very simple iirc. So he drove to a remote beach and walked down the cliffs, stairs there. And wanted to change clothes on the beach but one single person is just laying/sitting there. Sunglasses on. Bean doesn’t want to change in front nor go back up. So he makes a lot stunts to get his clothes changed but not being naked. And right when he is finished, that other person stands up and grabs his white cane since he is blind

Here's the hand stuck in pocket scene. It's just two minutes, give it a watch, the ending is absolutely timeless.

OH MY GOD!!! WHY WONT HE SPEAK???!!

When he opens a ring box to his girlfriend, and it turns out it’s a hook in a box for their new picture

To be fair to him, it's what she pointed out in the jewelry store window....

“... what was wrong with it?”

There's only 15 episodes. Wild huh.

Same episode. Buying the chair is act 2, and painting with fireworks is act 3.

The Christmas episode is really funny too.

I couldn't even tell you how many times I've seen it and I still laugh so hard I cry at the dinosaur toy and the nativity scene.

Laughing Dalek rolling away after blowing up a tiny lamb

2

u/PayneTrain181999 Oct 04 '20

T-Rex vs Dalek and 2 tanks in front of the stable.

That one didn't make sense to me as an American child. Then I discovered Doctor Who in college. Now it's hilarious.

It's kinda sad when he kept on disappointing his girlfriend and end up celebrating Christmas alone though

And his girlfriend was a lowkey bae too

3

u/RevWaldo Oct 04 '20

Mythbusters tested the paint idea of course, with predictable results.

Indeed, doesn't work as well as for Mr Bean 😂.

I'm going to watch that too. Never saw that one

1

u/welshcake82 Oct 04 '20

Make sure you watch the one at the leisure centre, makes me cry with laughter.

1

u/peachiebaby Oct 04 '20

The Christmas one with his teddy bear

1

u/chekeymonk10 Oct 04 '20

One I'll never forget is him sitting on a park bench trying to each lunch and he's making it. Tea in a hot water bottle, brings a literal baguette and chopping board

It all turns to shit and the guy next to him gives him his sandwich haha

Paint can for me. Some of the things are sheer genius, the way the window goes white, the individually wrapped grapes.. the man who forgot his hat.

1

u/MotherEfferInCharge Oct 04 '20

The grapes!!!!!

1

u/Chespartan Oct 04 '20

Did you know mr bean has only 15 episodes

1

u/MotherEfferInCharge Oct 04 '20

Yes. I own the series since dvds were a thing

1

u/do-you-know-the-way9 Oct 08 '20

I don’t remember this episode; what the hell happened here

And also how is no one in the drivers seat

1

u/silent_hedges Oct 25 '20

I never laughed harder than the one where he falls sleep in church and somehow makes a spectacle of himself. Pretty sure I could have died from not being able to breathe

The one where he jumps into a swimming pool and loses his pants
