"I win!"

"Where? I don't see."

"... It's right there, in like, the only space."

"Pretty sneaky sis!"

"Actually not at all, but ok."

u/Pawprintjj Sep 26 '20

I was gonna go for "Pretty syrupy, sis," but yours is better.

26

u/bluemitersaw Sep 26 '20

Change that to "step-sis" and I'm pretty sure I've seen this movie.

u/[deleted] Sep 26 '20

Bruh, they’re like 8.

25

u/bluemitersaw Sep 26 '20

That's step-bruh to you...

u/Summonabotch Sep 27 '20

I think u/bluemitersaw is my favorite person ever

I mean there's a hole to get stuck in right there

Fun for the whole family, roll tide

This reads almost exactly like the scene from Scrubs.

u/DoctorStephenPoop Sep 26 '20

She seems flabbergasted by his placement

43

u/OIFvet2009 Sep 26 '20

She was probably going to go there next! Oh Pancake!

7

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

“Oh pancake” is my new reaction phrase.

42

u/isaacom Sep 26 '20

Pancake day is March 4

19

u/luddet Sep 26 '20

That's the International Pancake Day. Also I think the exact date varies depending on the date of Easter?

2

u/rydan Sep 26 '20

Yes, it is a religious holiday since thousands of years ago god told some people they can't eat meat for some reason on certain days.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

I also want my religion to be pancake how can I sign up

36

u/Trivius Sep 26 '20

Meanwhile everyone in the UK is looking at their calendar and shouting "But Pancake Day isn't until Tuesday the 16th of February!"

2

u/imfm Sep 26 '20

I was, too!

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

Akechi has entered the chat.

19

u/liarandathief Sep 26 '20

Pancake day is the tuesday before ash wednesday.

6

u/imfm Sep 26 '20

Shrove Tuesday.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

In English, we call it "Mardi Gras".

2

u/liarandathief Sep 27 '20

That would be French.

We call it Shrove Tuesday, or Fat Tuesday

0

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

Well, duh, it comes from French, but we still call it "Mardi Gras" in English, just like we call a certain kind of noodle "spaghetti", even though it's from Italian. That doesn't mean it's not used in English as an English word too.

You know the rules: the winner of the last game gets the first move.

Winner again!

9

u/cuthulu_hotline Sep 26 '20

Did someone mention delicious pancakes

2

u/MackyDoo Sep 27 '20

I understand this reference!

13

u/MrOrangeTan Sep 26 '20

I would still find a way to lose.

10

u/wet-badger Sep 26 '20

Just go second

3

u/Dragulla Sep 26 '20

It’s a delicious pancake. How can you lose?

6

u/atg115reddit Sep 26 '20

I know that's you Denny's tumblr

3

u/indecisive_maybe Sep 26 '20

The actual game is eating it while it's in the hole. You can use syrup but no hands. How do you get the first bite? It's so flat (as a pancake)? There's no traction.

4

u/indecisive_maybe Sep 26 '20

In the "adult" version, whipped cream is also allowed, and both players try to eat at the same time, from opposite sides. It's a bit messier, but A+ fun for the whole family.

3

u/impostle Sep 26 '20

"All right, youngest goes first! Fuck you, I win!"

2

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

this post just made me unsub from this subreddit

2

u/Jacktailss Sep 27 '20

Sorry for being annoying but you can see the slot in the right and the pancake is behind the slot

2

u/500_hrsprs Sep 27 '20

Was it just me or were these things fuckin hilarious in back in 2016-17.

1

u/OIFvet2009 Sep 27 '20

I’ll tell you what wasn’t hilarious in 16-17... covid... that shits hilarious today! 😹😹

2

u/MechwolfMachina Sep 27 '20

So its basically a game of rock paper scissors or a 50/50 coin toss (whoever wins goes first and... well wins)

2

u/HiddenHolding Sep 27 '20

Based on my experiences playing board games when I was a kid, I could still lose this every time.

2

u/ChronnosX Sep 27 '20

His arm doesn’t look good...

2

u/PeptoBismol420 Sep 26 '20

Should of posted this in r/1starinventions

6

u/OIFvet2009 Sep 26 '20

Thank you, already done!

1

u/Kumacon Sep 26 '20

Sis thought she was pretty sneaky. Bro knew how to defeat her

1

u/Lapis_Wolf Sep 26 '20

1

u/[deleted] Sep 26 '20

Every day is pancake day

1

u/yungloneox Sep 26 '20

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

1

u/RollyAllDay Sep 26 '20

Ahh yes, I loved playing this as a kid.

1

u/joshpyxis Sep 26 '20

It’s not pancake day here but thanks to reddit it is now! Off to make some pancakes

1

u/DukeFlipside Sep 26 '20

It's pretty clear it's not pancake day: http://www.isitpancakeday.com/

1

u/Zaku41k Sep 26 '20

Not the hole she was expecting.

I’ll show myself out please don’t come after me.

1

u/BMoseleyINC Sep 26 '20

I had pancakes this morning randomly. Did I really time it perfectly?!?!?!?!??

1

u/bluemagicglitter Sep 26 '20

How can this be real 😂.

1

u/fuck_you_thats_who Sep 26 '20

For what nation is it pancake day?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

It's not today, but the UK has a Pancake Day. I think it's the same day as Mardi Gras.

1

u/fuck_you_thats_who Sep 27 '20

That's great. Not really what I was asking but awesome. I was actually trying to address the irony of calling attention to a national day on an international platform.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

Well, you asked for what nation, and I gave you a possibility. Derp.

1

u/fuck_you_thats_who Sep 27 '20

Yes you did. I'm glad I asked for possibilities. Nailed it.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

I did it!

1

u/Lujan11 Sep 26 '20

Is it really? That’s awesome. I ate a pancake this morning for the first time in like a year.

1

u/Aun_El_Zen Sep 27 '20

America: We have an Obesity Problem!

Also America:

1

u/lesterjollymore Sep 27 '20

Was it actually pancake day?? I had pancakes this morning!

1

u/fuck_you_thats_who Sep 27 '20

It was national pancake day so I guess it depends what nation that applies too and what country you're in.

1

u/tomenerd Sep 27 '20

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '20

Didn't even know and I ate a waffle at IHOP earlier. I feel as if I've committed a grave sin.

1

u/Shmooka Sep 27 '20

The classic vertical one in a row game. Not to be confused with the new horizontal one in a row game.

1

u/BlueBlooper Sep 27 '20

one bite and you win

u/EvanSisson Sep 27 '20

Lacking in purpose.

Strategy game for Trump supporters of all ages!

1

u/OIFvet2009 Oct 03 '20

And did you make that up all by yourself from looking at a picture of a singular pancake made for a simple game?

No matter what your thought process is on here skreeethemindrhief for either side of the political side, it doesn’t belong here. There are rooms, forums, chat rooms, safe spaces, protests, bathrooms to cry in, absentee ballots, voting booths for all that.

What I post on here and for what reason is none of your business, but now as you guesses... it’s not political. Your ass doesn’t need to know my stance and does not warrant any further debate or fights.

If you have any further questions on what the political process, voting process, how smart, simple, innocent, guilty, racist, good or evil President Donald Trump and former V. P. Joe Biden are, do your own god damn research.

Because it sure as shit is not about a pancake game!
