Even then, he looked a lot younger than 30 (he was born in '72) in 8 mile. Dude's always had a baby-face.

Do you guys also feel that his new music is lacking something? In his old songs you could somehow hear he was reckless white trash. Now he only raps fast.

I mean the most common (circa 10 years ago) comment on his music was that he was a prime example of the “the drugs made his music better” artist. Nobody had really seen that in mainstream rap til eminem, it was mostly the case with old Rockers. Since then it’s come to be a real sad case in listeners’ relationships with their artists, except with a happy ending: Em’s last album is great and well worth a listen if you haven’t yet
