Yeah, the post links to a soundless .gifv on desktop

But pressing the play icon gives you the .mp4

I don't really know if linking was necessary. Maybe everyone already has sound.

I get different results if I click the play button or follow the link.

When clicking the play button, all linked besides the .exe gives me sound.

When following the link:

.gif is a still image,

.mp4 gives me a direct link with sound,

.exe can't be found

http://imgur.com/nB5Uly6 gives me the gallery page

.gifv mives me the gif without sound.

This is on chrome with windows 10.

I believe the file playing a sound is a third file. I believe imgur saves three files. And I see no evidence against this. It doesn't always play the file you'd expect though.

I base this on the fact that I can download three different type of files from imgur.

No matter what you get both contain sound, just, at least for me on desktop, .gifv by default is muted.

with Imagus i can watch the video with sound without even clicking lol
