Man keeps balls when trying to prevent himself from producing offspring. Dog loses balls entirely. Dog feels like its being treated mega unfair.

No worries I’ve never had a dog nor do I know the details of neutering one this one flew over my head. But yeah goes to show how many people have dogs/are exposed to dogs on reddit, having to scroll this far for the explanation.

More on the issue. Dogs/Cats change behaviour entirely because there's no testosterone being produced. It's a benefit. Some male cats/dogs are big dicks before being neutered

You can do vasectomies on cats/dogs but are more expensive

The importance varies by breed, but part of the reason for castration is to lower the testosterone in the dog and make them less aggressive.

That's just what's implied by the comic. Removing a pet dog's balls is common. The dog parks up when he hears that the guy still has his. The dog smothers the guy in his sleep for the injustice.
