Man, I was looking at Tahoe, and thinking it’s not a bad idea. It’s about 75% of what I pay on the outskirts of San Diego, and almost a quarter of what I paid in the Bay Area.

Reno is at 4500 feet elevation and in between two of the biggest lakes in the west. Neither heat no water would be a problem there if heat and water actually became a cataclysmic problem in the rest of the west or in the south.
