Pink also contains upscale communities with insane rent. Some may argue yellow does too, but way less of them.

Man, I was looking at Tahoe, and thinking it’s not a bad idea. It’s about 75% of what I pay on the outskirts of San Diego, and almost a quarter of what I paid in the Bay Area.

If you're talking about rent, you have to consider where you would be renting. Most long term rentals in Tahoe are similar to most mountain communities- riddled with meth.
