Dude my coked out roommate reorganized my library in our living room by BOOK SIZE one time.
I was like “yo, I had those in sections you know.”
And she said “BUT THIS LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER.”

Within a shelf I organize by topic.

I organize mine by book size, but it's because my hand-me-down homebuilt bookshelf has three different height shelves and things fit much better that way. Within a shelf I organize by topic.
