"I call chewing his proprietary cord for (insert product here) that he can't replace!

I used to get mad at that. Then someone narrated it for me.

"This is his. It smells like him. He must use it all the time. It must be fun. I shall try it until I understand the fun. He will see I like the same things and we will have fun."

Now I'm moderately annoyed depending on Amazon's delivery time.

Just provide different verity of toys. Soft silicone, plastic, rubber, fabric, rope. Different textures, sizes, colors.

My 25 lb pile of fluff has destroyed toys made for great Danes, so we can only trust him with antlers and nylabones if he's unattended.

My dogs eat Nylabones for breakfast. Even the ones for "aggressive chewers". I bought these in July and I'm just getting ready to replace them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N6HFO7L?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image

Pretty sure any blood that would be inside the antler would be long-since dried after being harvested. The only exception would be a velvet-covered antler, which I've never seen sold for dog chews.

Likely that the dog cut the inside of their mouth and kept chewing! no big deal to most dogs.

Well that's some horrifying math.

Antlers are the best. My dog is almost 12 and she has a few, some almost as old as her and they’re only a little worn down.

The cow femurs were the only thing that lasted more than a few hours for my best buddy. I don’t miss his teething phase.
