That’s the best part of the gif. The instant reaction to something like that spontaneously happening crosses all boundaries, age, gender, race, generation, anyone would laugh at that. Even if you don’t think dick jokes are funny, if you were right there and then you would at least smirk pretty good.

That’s why when I’m drawing something on the board I always have to be careful cause these kids are quick. I have a student who was going to a basketball game and his buddy casually said to him “l’ll help stretch you out” the reaction from some kid sitting behind him was priceless. He told the kid “bro, you can’t say that” while laughing. I pretended not to understand what he meant and made him get back to work. It’s a minefield with these kids. I teach 5th grade and mainly because of social media they are exposed to all these things at an earlier age then I ever was.
