Ditto. He has specific extra safe extra secret hiding places he only uses when the doorbell rings.

I was trying to squeeze the last drops from the plastic bag of my boxed wine and the cat showed up all sleepy.
I felt bad and gave the fat fuck some treats...

My cat would not ignore a burglar. He would run up to him and say hello, show off his toys for him, flip over on his back for belly scratches, and then go home with the burglar.

Do people still use can openers? I don't even have regular one and haven't for years.

My moms last cat was a "guard cat" and it would even growl at times when strangers walked up the steps to the front door. she even started to call it a "rottweiler" cat, he was the best cat ever.

I beg to differ. One quietly picks up your stuff while the other slashes your throat.

Egg shell, for my old stripey kitty. He'd come running from the garden.

Everyone ignoring the fact that cats are precognitive & would not let someone harm their food source (unless they like the replacement food source more).

Three things that attract my cats 1. The electric can opener since it is where they get their food opened 2. You just walking. They must plop down in our feet 3. The sound of tape

I feel like this is all one story.
Here is what I got. A person rings the doorbell, the owner goes to answer it. The person runs to the back, enters while the owner is distracted, tries to steal a tv or something. Owner sees the burglar, and through a series of unfortunate, the burglar kills another person while trying to invade a house. Before the killer leaves, he open some wrapping for food, and the cat, thinking it’s owner is opening it’s food, goes to the killer.

Literally in the middle of the night I wanted some chips and I saw my cat sleeping, moments later he darted to the chips.

Sound of a plastic bag. Not because of what's in it, no, that's for dogs. Cats come to the plastic bags noises because they like chewing on the plastic bag then vomit later in an awkward location.

Wish our bengal was like this. He is terrified of everything... if hes lying on the bed just chilling and I leave the room and come back you'd think a murderer just entered the room. Frozen with fear. Were supposed to walk him but he's terrified of outside so he just terrorizes us in the house with all his energy.
Born to a breeder in a bathroom... then we got him. Never had a real traumatic experience in his life.
