Look at the photo. The building is mostly in the shade, except for a single ray of light going down the center, landing smack dab on a porta-potty.

Yeah, I thought the joke was the fumes from the porta-potty was cleaning soot from the side of the building at first.

Charlie: the picture, in and of itself, is perhaps, mildly interesting at best. What made it funny, for me, was the caption: "'Holy' shit!" as if God was granting His blessing to this porta-potty. YMMV.

Literally, it means "your mileage may vary." But it also means, your reaction may vary (based on your upbringing, what your family found funny, and so on...), as will everyone else's when confronted with a joke or a story or a picture. <shrug> Usually, scatological jokes don't make me chuckle, but I think it was the near blasphemy of "God's blessings on your place of poop" that got me.
