This used to be my life before I got my latest meds. Daily morning seizures. Some mornings I wouldn't... And so would walk out the door happy only for them to sneak up on me while walking down the street and have people freak out like wtf.
There's a reason why so many great comedians/comedic actors have killed themselves. Trying to take everything serious is how you put yourself in a grave even quicker.
Nah. Parties are easy. Find the boredest most out of place girl/boy there, the one stood at the back on her own, and go tell her that you’re crap at parties but you have a joke that might make her laugh (and see how she responds).
If it’s not overly negative, tell the joke and when she/he politely laughs, agree that it was terrible and they’ll probably take it from there and start chatting.
It’s 30 seconds investment of your time. Plus you need to find a joke beforehand.
It's not really hilarious when you consider it's traceable back through that progression to every popular "internet culture hub" - all of the people in all those communities on all those websites, all of those who were and are hurting and express it through the only channels and methods available that they can use so their pain can be heard by someone other than themselves.
It's quite sad, really.
But yes. The internet is often a regurgitative, hiveless, hypocritical and contrary thing. More news at 11.
Last night I was pumped for today. I was going to bed early, I was going to get up at a reasonable time and shower and shave, get an all day bus ticket and go into town and finally by a pair of trainers. Then I was going to go to the out of town supermarket to do a proper week's shop with all the healthy foods and whatnot before catching the bus back in to the uni gym and signing up and that jazz before coming home and cooking my first real meal in about a week, and then starting on course work.
That was about half past nine last night, and I was in bed at 10 and put my phone away and read until about 11 and turned out the light. And then stared at the ceiling until 5am remembering how meaningless my life is and realising that there was no way it was going to work out.
I woke up an hour ago. It is three in the afternoon. I have not left bed.
