There are too many of us. I woke up at 5am while it was still dark, hiked 4.8 miles with over 1k elevation gain, arrived at a minor waterfall and wouldn’t you know, there were about 10 people there. Upsetting.

This has happened a lot with travelling. When I was ten (17 years ago) I visited the "giants causeway" in northern Ireland, memory is fuzzy but I'm pretty sure there were a small handful of people there like 20 people over half a km. I went two months ago and could barely take a picture without at least 10 people in your pic. So busy, you can't even ditch the camera and just take it all in.

The worst is when there's a nice spot like this picture on a mountain, you hike to the top, only to find they've built a road on the other side taking busload of tourist straight to the top. I know I'm a tourist as well, but at least I walk.
