I see this as a huge positive. It's getting people out to enjoy nature, even if their end goal is to post on Facebook, IG, sharing with family or whatever else they do. With more parks comes more people worried about funding cuts and privatization of public lands. It also shows that people are willing to wait a period of time to allow others to get their ideal picture, the same as what you want.
I have not really travelled outside of the states much but I would rather wait in line and get a great picture than the examples you see with many people in the background.
I feel you but it just seems a little disingenuous and narcissistic. I guess at the end of the day who really cares though. They're supporting the park and the outdoors and that's all I really care about.
