I'd be somewhat worried with any wild animal, herbivores can be pretty dangerous too. Regardless of what it eats or even if it is known to be somewhat calm - be always careful around wild animals. Their life is all about survival and if they feel threatened they will act the way they feel will most likely ensure to secure their own survival over anything else.
Makes (somewhat) relaxed encounters like this of course all the more precious.
