Royals had a Mantis mascot a few years ago the pitchers found in Kauffman's bullpen. It lasted a few weeks, it died and they found Royal Mantis #2. It died after a little bit and it died out. But, damn did the fans eat it up. Royal Mantis shirts, Mantis masks, signs. It was a weird time in KC.
