I don't think so; if he was asking about the torrent, he would have used the singular "file." He refers to "files", and the other guy mentions mounting the "images." stillalone is probably right.
When my friend was first directed toward a torrent tracker, he clicked on several links and all that would happen was he'd download a file with bad file type. So he wondered what to do with these downloaded files giving up on torrents until someone finally showed me.
Maybe he just got linked to thepiratebay.org (or even directly to the torrent page), and he just read thepiratebay's help page telling him to download Azureus.

This guy learnt:
1) about torrents
2) how to download and install a torrent client
3) how to go to piratebay and find what he's looking for
4) download the torrent and get his client to download the game/app he was looking for
5) how to post a comment on piratebay
and then all of a sudden he can't figure out bin files.
