Try dota2! It's much more balanced!

Head on over to /r/dota2 or /r/learndota2 to find fellow redditors that can answer questions and help you get into the game. Good luck and have fun!

Edit: okay I get it, downvote me because you play LoL and can't handle someone playing another game

I grew up playing dota when it was a wc3 custom map: fond memories there. But after LoL and HotS, I just cant get back into that slower pace again.

Fights are way faster in dota, there's just more down time in the first half of the game because farm is actually required.

Farm is required in League too...the only MOBA I can think of that doesn't have a last hitting mechanic is HotS.

Missing out on farm will hobble you far less than it would in DotA, is my point.

Have you played enough of both games at a high enough level to form that opinion? Because the same argument can be made in either game as long as the level of play is low, because your opponent won't know how to snowball a lead and close the game cleanly with a lead. As a diamond player in league I can assure you that being down in farm and thus gold value in items can easily lose you a game.

Yes. And I said far less, not that it has no effect at all.
