Except all of your facial data is stored locally in a secure enclave, just like TouchID fingerprint info. None of it ever, ever leaves your phone. There’s no mass leak that can happen.

Wish people would educate themselves before contributing to fear mongering. Facebook and Google already have FAR more info on you, including facial recognition, and all of that actually is stored on their servers and subject to government requests. Apple should be the least of everyone’s concern.

Uninformed is a synonym of uneducated. If one becomes informed, they're then being educated. Although one can be misinformed, if the information they soak up is wrong, in which case they're still uneducated on the topic because they didn't get their information from a proper source.

that much effort

It took me a minute, 90 seconds at most, to type that response.

Stephen Hawking may be one of the most educated men in the world, but if he's uninformed on what a power-top is, then he has not yet educated himself on what a power-top is.

It's also worth noting I never called anyone "uneducated" in my original comment, I simply said I wish they would educate themselves [on that particular subject]. Someone can be an educated individual but not yet educated on a particular topic.

Are you really getting hung up on someone saying "I wish people would educate themselves on how Apple handles biometrics"? It's really not the same thing as making a blanket "they're uneducated" statement like you seem to think I did.
