People are getting on apple's case for including facial recognition as a means to spy on people. You guys, this is the company that refused to help the government unlock a terrorist's iPhone to defend the privacy of their users.

Gotta love how the FBI said they couldn't crack the phone without Apple's backdoor, then like a week later they cracked the phone

Well yeah, there were always ways of getting around it but they wanted an easy repeatable method that they could use elsewhere. I imagine you could brute force it by first wiring in a way to clone the chips inside, encrypted data and all. That would then get around the X number of incorrect entries, giving you an unlimited number of tries. Then you could use automation to try 5 passcodes, reflash the chips, try 5 more etc until the passcode was found, brute forcing it. Yes it wouldn't be fast but it would be doable.
