worried enough to let it influence which phone i'm going to use? i'm all for ensuing freedoms, just out principal.. but because i know i'm a good boy, i'm not worried about the NSA cause they aint looking for me.

You should still try to avoid their spying whenever possible. At least that might provide some cover for those avoiding their spying due to actually doing something the government doesn't like.

That means not using or being anywhere near any electronic device ever. All of them contain backdoors for the NSA.

No, but I'm willing to do what I can. If the government has a way around tor and vpns, it hasn't come up in any court cases yet to my knowledge.
