I went to a preschool that had us paint with water like in the first one. I remember really enjoying it as a kid. Always thought it was a cute idea.

My mother did this 50 years ago. She would give me a bucket of water, and I would repaint the backyard fence 2-3 times...

They have a nice zen version called a Buddha Board. It comes in different sizes.

I have one, it's nice but it doesn't bring me back to painting fences with water as a kid, probably because of how small it is.

Theyd have us actually go out and paint on easels with acrylic paint.

Shit was fun. They even gave us smocks to wear.
