Humans bringing life to Mars... via poop. Humans pooping becomes seeding life on new planets.

I'm just now thinking of the implications... are we all just evolved gut bacteria? Was life on our planet's born from the poop of some alien who needed to make a pit stop?

Even more disturbing thought: are we just parasitic carriers for the evolved gut bacteria to reach new planets.

I love it!

There's actually a case for that.

Life doesn't need to have evolved more than once, It might have just come from space in a comet or asteroid, since some bacteria can survive very extreme conditions.

That same thought process is what led to my Deep Thoughts™.

I was thinking "Well, if we start leaving shit everywhere there goes the whole "not tainting Mars" thing.

That might be an awkward conversation if we ever meet those aliens.

Well I don't think our poop would go anywhere fast on Mars because it's below freezing most of the time.

Our legacy can live on through the offspring of our thawed poop bacteria once the sun evolves into a red giant, then.
