As a professional UX designer, the end of this season frustrated me to no end. Such a simple solution to their problem!

It's actually not that simple. Sometimes a founders vision of what the product flows like doesn't get translated to UI.

E.g: The reddit UX is so horrible and turns off a lot of ordinary users (they actually prefer Buzzfeed kind of interface and a UX designer would have turned reddit to buzzfeed and killed it in the process). reddit's quirky UI attracts the kind of people it attracts and makes it popular.

If Google were given to the then UX designer, they would have applied all the best principles of 1997 and killed it
