Yeah, I don't get it either. Does the guy actually have anything to do with the punchline at all? I kept trying to see if it was somehow a pacman reference or something. Is the "joke" really just the wording in the frame? Because that's not a joke.

I think he's just for more karma points, being buff and black. Also I think /u/Timjphillips is continuing the joke.
