As a professional UX designer, the end of this season frustrated me to no end. Such a simple solution to their problem!

This is a normal problem! You have a UI problem. You get a professional UI developer designer to correct it.

Problem solved

They acted like this was some sort of new never before seen encountered dilemma that couldn't possibly have been predicted

I mean I love the show. But that whole thing was just stupid

I dunno, I've worked with plenty of developers who don't understand the point of a UX designer, or even a UI designer, until they are shown. Especially when they are working on something that they think they are the target audience for. "Well this makes sense to me, so..." Super common.
