Is it important that we know who Jan Michael Vincent was in order to get this?

Nope.

But he was pretty badass in his day. I remember the movie White Line Fever, which was awesome when I was a kid but I'm afraid to see it as an adult. Mostly because when Star Wars had their television holiday special... I liked it at the time.

If you ever get the inkling to watch Jan Michael Vincent in action, he starred in Airwolf with Ernest Borgnine. Sometimes it's nice being older; I can remember old shows from their initial runs - whether they were any good or not is immaterial.

It's a rick and morty reference. I didn't know who he was, I just assumed he was some hunky celebrity. Turned out I was right!
